Watching the clock

I am in the busy season for my job right now. Busy season means collecting a mandatory form from a lot of people. It means having to make completion of said form easier for the idiots that need to complete it. It means lowering my IQ by 100 points so I can think on their level. And screw everyone who thinks that means I have a negative IQ then.

You can only dumb things down to a certain point until it gets complicated again. No matter how easy it is to complete (check a box in the first section, check a box in the second section, sign, date, return), some moron will not understand what they need to do.

The part that pisses me off is that I then need to hold their hand and walk them through the process or my boss will get pissed at me. She doesn't understand that no matter how easy I make it for everyone, the vocal minority will have issues with what we are trying to accomplish.

Screw them!

I should call this dork on the West Coast and wake his ass up. I receive two emails from this moron, crying that he doesn't know what to do. I should get the idiot up out of bed early. That is the penalty you get for being an idiot. I would do it but I did this once before and the person I woke up happened to be best friend with the President of my division. Oops.

Yesterday, illegal immigrants once again marched. They chanted "Today we march, tomorrow we vote." Uh, no won't. You need to be a U.S. citizen to be able to vote. Schmucks. Oh wait. In Wisconsin you don't need to prove you are a citizen. You don't need to show any ID to be able to vote. Guess they will all be voting in the Dairy State come November.

I sat staring outside last night. I kept one eye on the clock, the other on the sky. Looks like 7:32 is a go for Thursday. But there might be clouds too. If I cannot see the sun because of the clouds, is it safe to assume it has set?

I may try to call in some audio posts on Thursday night. How many beers can I down? How many shots? It is big mouth night at Big Mommas so 160z bottles will be tossed back. K thinks after I finish the second beer I will have a nice buzz going. Does that mean I will be on the floor by the 6th?

Nope. It will be like riding a bike. There will be some wobbling involved but once you get back in the saddle, it is smooth riding.

If this is the busy season for your job, does that make you the Easter Bunny?

This immigrant thing is pissing me off. Did you notice that they started carrying the American flag?

Are you off Friday? You should probably take it off. I am guessing that you will have a massive hangover.

Yes, no work on me for Friday. I anticipate the sweet pain that is a hangover not had for months.

As long as you don't fall over while on your bike (like me) you should be good to go.
