Tired
I was up late again last night playing poker. Did well but wasn't the big winner this time.
So I am working on little sleep today. To be fully functional (for work that is ;) ), I need 8 hours of sleep. I can get by with 7. But 5 just won't do it. I feel ok now, but know come 2 pm my ass will be dragging.
I am a bit surprised to see the Wisconsin Badger hockey team have the #1 seed going into the NCAA hockey tournament. The finals are here in Milwaukee. I tried to sniff up some tickets a couple of months back but there were none to be had. So I check some ticket scalpers online as well as Ebay. These people are nuts! One guy wants over a grand for 3rd row seats. Uh, yeah.
I once did pay $125 for a hockey game. I was in Detroit for business and a friend (big Wings fan) got some tickets for us. It was the most I had ever paid for a sporting event but it was damn well worth it. Awesome seats in the 6th row, corner, what seemed only a couple feet above ice level.
But I can't see parting with a couple hundred just for a chance to see the Badgers win. They are playing good, but not great. Goaltending is key here and they have a good one. As long as their defense holds up, they have a great chance.
I took a stupid quiz at work today to see if I 'felt my age'. I have felt other parts of me, but my age. Bing! Apparently I am younger than I truly should be. They say it is cuz I don't smoke and eat pretty well and exercise, but I think it is other things. A willing to take chances in life and the booze that has pickled my innards.
I just hope they aren't un-pickling inside me now. Tomorrow puts me halfway home on my mission. But hey, who's counting?

No, the gurus here have screwed up our email system. I am not getting stuff from other people as well.
It has been so long I thought it was longer than halfway. I will think about you in an hour.
